The official UK Sausage Week Preview, published by Meat Management magazine, is now available to read, search and share.

Included within the October edition of Meat Management magazine, from page 29 to 56, the preview offers an array of information on the UK sausage sector’s trends and recent performance, a selection of sausage-focused business tips, an exclusive interview with the campaign’s celebrity ambassador, Eric Knowles, and much more.

A key feature in the preview is the double page spread of top tips for how retailers can boost business during the initiative, such as displaying the official UK Sausage Week poster and offering sizzling sausage deals. In addition to being distributed within the edition, the poster can be downloaded here.

Butchers can also take inspiration from a collection of recipes published in the preview and either create ready-meals or share the recipes with consumers. As well as being printed in the preview, all of the recipes are available to download as PDFs here.

Finally, readers of the preview will find details of the celebration lunch, taking place on 30th October at Plaisterers’ Hall. Tickets for the lunch are available online and can be purchased at

Editor of Meat Management magazine, Emily Ansell Elfer, said: “Compiling the UK Sausage Week Preview has been a really interesting experience and we hope it offers a handy guide for industry on how to really make the most of the campaign and use it to their advantage.

“Readers of the preview will also find details of the week’s main event – the celebration lunch. Taking place at the stunning Plaisterers’ Hall in London, tickets for the lunch are available now.
